Anno Heading For Nintendo DS
Set for a release during Easter 2007, the Anno-series are heading for the Nintendo DS.
Simulation lovers most likely know the game from Sunflowers by heart. It started with Anno 1602, followed by Anno 1503 and soon Anno 1701 is heading for the PC. But where does that leave the Nintendo DS gamers? In short, exactly where they belong: on the Nintendo DS.
Sunflowers has hired an external team of developers to work on Anno DS. While details are scarse, DS-x2 managed to get hold of the first facts and screenshots (although extremely small) on the upcoming Nintendo DS version. During Easter 2007, Nintendo DS gamers will get to play Anno DS.
Anno DS will be a true game from the Anno-series: Discovery, Colonization and Trade are the core elements of the game. The special features of the hardware are made use of in the Nintendo DS version. Anno DS will be controlled completely with the stylus. The appealingly animated characters in the game are shown on the top screen, while the bottom screen displays the map.
Anno DS will provide a multi-player mode for 4 players via the wireless connection.

This type of game is still the best on PC. They can't actually achieve the level of AI that a PC can do with DS design. It is possible but no game company has done so, yet. Worms DS has a very weak AI, I can finish all 20 levels of challenge mode without losing any round.
@lesomeguy Never played worms on ds, Im afraid, but I think it ought to be possible to cram a good ai onto ds cart. I stopped caring for RTSses quite a while ago, but this looks decent enough.
Saw this a while ago.
Yeh saw this a while back now. Never played the pc version but i like games like Age of Empire and Empire Earth so perhaps i'll give this a go. Someone should port Empire earth to the ds. that games awesome.
