Capcom Brings Clover Studios Down

By the end of March 2007, the Clover Studios are no more.

Capcom has issued out a press release stating that thcompany is bringing down their subsidiary Clover Studios, the development studios behind the Viewtiful Joe series.

While this news brings shock to the gaming scene, the press release does not state whether or not the development teams and/or intellectual properties themselves will be discontinued as well, merely the discontinuing of Clover Studios as a seperate entity in the Capcom world.

  I have read that the members of the Clover studio, subsequently to the Capcom decision, want to leave Capcom to found their independent studio. Best wishes to them from me, i love their games.
