MYST DS Bound?

Midway hint at a touch-screen version.

According to an article in the latest edition of Electronic Games Trade Magazine MCV, a DS version of the classic puzzler MYST could be developed in the near future. In the piece assistant brand manager, Craig Parker-Wood states that 'We haven't yet decided if we are going to release it on DS : that's a possibility, and we are looking into that'.

The news comes just as Midway are about to release the PSP version which represents one of the first games of it's genre on the format. We'll have more news for you on this soon.

  @aaronbro123 Yes, I know it's not entirely true. But it's the same situation as GCN Vs PS2 and developers will want to release software on the most poplular console as well. We all probably know that drill.

  i think its possibly some sort of special edition of first myst and possible riven. Size isnt that big when all images and videos optimized to screen. even myst 3 would be possible to optimize for nds. ill expect first one to come after 1 year from psp version. This could be also be made as fanwork (only to homebrew version tho).
