I've got to admt that it looks really good for the DS. Before I had just dismissed it as a developers idea to make some quick cash, and although there's still the possibility that the gameplay will be lacking, but at least we know that the game itself looks beautiful.
OT: All FFIII + Crystal White DS Lite bundle are now sold out in Japan. Should be written a news about that.

looks like they're running an engine similar to Tak 3 Ds. that game had no slowdown, and fairly detailed models, so it's promising. shame the storyline was so flimsy.
