Nintendo Working On Mech Game

In the latest edition of Famitsu magazine, it becomes clear that Nintendo has been working on a new mech-game for the Nintendo DS: Super Control Robot MG.

Super Control Robot MG, or Chousouju Mecha MG for our Japanese readers, is a mech game in which gamers will use the stylus to directly control their robot through the HUD. Load a gun using the stylus, pop over a lever to start walking, you know your default mech controls. As each mech will feature a different set of weapons, different HUDs will allow for different controls.

No specific release date has been set yet.

  i hope there are alternate controls with face buttons because latelay ive been getting cramps in my wrist from playing metroid.

  It seems the control panel is displayed on the touchpad and you are controlling the robot with stylus. Seems like they are trying to achieve Battle Stallion, except no giant hardware controller.
