Mario Gets Competition: Shrek Kart

In the past, we had already seen Shrek Swamp Kart Speedway for the Game Boy Advance. Now, our friendly ogre got himself a new set of wheels.

Back in 2002, Game Boy Advance gamers found a new game on the shelves: Shrek Swamp Kart Speedway from TDK Mediactive. While the game was not exactly what many gamers were hoping for, Activision tries to reinstall the series over four years later.

DS-x2 has learned that Activision is planning Shrek Kart for the Nintendo DS, Game Boy Advance, GameCube, Playstation 2 and PSP. No details have been disclosed yet, but we'll be sure to keep you up to date.
