Japan To Get DS Lite Pink

The time has come for Nintendo to continue the coloring trend with handhelds and consoles. Next up: a pink DS Lite for Japan.

On July 20, Japan will see a brand new edition of the Nintendo DS Lite: a pink version.

Recently, a spokesperson of Nintendo UK already announced that they were planning to keep the regular Nintendo DS in the stores for a little longer. The reason? The pink and blue colors are not (yet) available for the successor called DS Lite. With Japan claiming the pink colored DS Lite and Nintendo UK waiting for a pink DS Lite to substitute the regular DS, we think its safe to assume that Europe will see the pink Lite soon enough.
