ALL Cellien Studios Joins Nintendo Squad

The team of developers working on Nintendo products has been extended once more. Developer Cellien Studios has started working on some new projects.

Cellien Studios, former subsidiary of Star Cave Studios and developer of Illumina (PC FPS game) and Terra: Formations (PC MMO) announces its intention to focus on the Nintendo platforms in the future.

Currently the studio is busy developing original game content for the Nintendo DS while developing games on contract for external developers and publishers targeted at the Game Boy Advance; Additionally, Cellien Studios are entering negotiations for updating existing Game Boy Color titles onto the Game Boy Advance system, and porting Nintendo GameCube titles onto the Wii system, a platform Cellien Studios are eager to work on in the future.

  • Eh i am confused.... Why would they want to release Gamecube games on Wii 1) they have not released any Gamecube games 2) The Wii can play Gamecube games anyway...

  • You have a point "themole", but maybe when they say porting they are going to add some sort of feature that allows you to play that GCN title with the Wii Remote. And as for "updating existing Game Boy Color titles onto the Game Boy Advance", why don't you put some GBC games onto the DS? The reign of the GBA is almost over, Cellien.
