King of Fighters headed to the DS

IGN reveals that at the recent MMBB Online Game Festa, King of Fighters producer Falcoon announced that SNK will be bringing the series to the Nintendo DS, and that he expects the details to surface soon.

  Oh, right. Geez, I hope this doesn't suck. I don't think the DS is really suited for fighting games (even less than the GBA was, where they should have ported some of the better NGPC/Wonderswan fighters).

  There is supposed to be a Capcom VS SNK card game out for GBA and NDS. But I believe this is the traditional KoF fighting game. Most likely the sequal of Howling Blood or just a remake of KoF 2K.
