Final Fantasy XII is released, but Children of Mana, Animal Crossing, and Training titles all still remain on the chart. DS Lite sales slowly get better as shipments increase.

As you can see the launch of a Final Fantasy has boosted PS2 sales and it has now taken the second spot on the chart. However, DS Lite still manages to claim the number one spot and to sell over 100K this week.

  is MPH out in japan? but i like how many time the ds games are up there =)

  No but I doubt it's even coming out in Japan, there isn't even a date yet. They don't buy many FPS games and MPH is much more closer to a FPS then the other Prime games are.

  OMG....the amount of copies of FFXII sold is just sick...they beat out Mario Kart in just a week...and will probably catch up to Animal Crossing by next week. And even beat both Brain Trainings. Looks like FF still has a lot of popularity in Japan, even if they say that Dragon Quest is more popular :P

  Whoa, 1.7 million. Not bad at all, although FFX sold better from memory. PS2 sales certainly took a boost from that as well.
