  No it doesn't. It's exactly the same. If you look at the old screen shots, some of them are from a battle. There is one picture that is shown which is similar to the above images. Also, it might be possible to change the map views as well. I am looking forward to this title.

  that still looks really good for the DS, i'm intrested to see how it will look on the unit itself, it looks like it could be a little hard to make out :S.

  Still it looks damn sweet, if you ask me :D ..but looking at the tiny symbols on the bottom of the screen I still don´t know if there are realy DS and not PC-Shots..
