Square's latest FFVII spin-off takes the top spot this week with Nintendo's new generations game teaching Japanese how to speak English coming in second. Mostly new releases made the chart this week, including Treasure's latest action-fighter Bleach DS based off the popular anime in Japan. Unfortunately due to low shipments of the game, Bleach DS did not meet demand and sold less then it would have if Sega had just produced more copies to ship to retailers at launch. New shipments of the Nintendo DS had also finally reached retailers for this week. However as previously reported, they few off the shelves so quickly that the DS was sold out yet again by the end of the month, and given that the Chinese New Year is on the horizon, who knows if Nintendo and Sega will be able to satisfy the remaining demand for the DS and Bleach DS until after the holidays.
