Tales of the Tempest - Minisite
Namco has opened up the minisite for the upcoming RPG Tales of the Tempest. The minisite contains various screenshots and information (of course, in Japanese) and can be found here.
They don't looks much different to me. Just a bit bigger screens and more colourful. Still looks like a mighty impressive fully 3D DS game that comes out in 2 months in Japan. I still can't believe this is being done on the DS, this is what N64 RPGs would have looked like... if it had some.
DS has an impressive upcoming RPG line-up, much better then the RPGs the DS has now. Mario & Luigi 2 is good, but I think some of the upcoming games will be better. Hopefully we get nothing like Lunar DS again. But I'm looking forward to the two Harvest Moon games, Contact, Final Fantasy III, Children of Mana, & Tales of the Tempest amongst others in the future. And the only one that seems far off is FFIII. I'm hoping more RPGs get announced at E3 as well.

Whoa. I didn't actually believe that the environments were also all made of polygons. ...Well now I do. Looks really good.
Now I see the pictures as it should look, I dont like the grahpic style.

amazing screens, beyond expectations in comparison to what i've seen on the DS so far
I like the town screenshot, it looks decent. The characters could be better I think. But the landscapes are nice.
Hm... I guess they're going to go fully 3D now. I wish they went to high resolution 2D instead.
