PSP Given Chance To Outsell DS In Japan
Nintendo of Japan has already apologized, but they're offering Sony to sell more PSP's than Nintendo will sell DS systems in Japan.
What appears to be the case? Nintendo of Japan has put up an official apology for the unavailability of the Nintendo DS in Japan. The recent skyrocketing sales have caused a shortage and now... a total stock-out.
With Japan officially sold out of Nintendo DS units, the next milestone in DS sales will have to wait a little longer.

Sold OUT?! Didn't see that one comin'...
LOL is that even possible?
It´s possible when you sell 1 million consoles in two weeks in one country. DS was the fastest-selling gaming console ever in Japan in holidays so shortages were expected.
i wonder how long it actually takes to put together a ds...
Sounds like the Sega Satern Curse has struck on our little handheld. Oh Well. Im sure the ds "re-Produces" faster then two rabbets on coke.
Not really a big deal. After all, they DID purchase a whole new factory in China just to make DSes. They probably just underestimated their own success. They'll soon be back on track :)
japanese ppl do things 10x faster than us, so theyll have more soon
oh crap....but wow...
amazing! PSP now has a fighting chance in the next coming weeks :)
Even if PSP sells a lot, they still can't say they totally sold out! :P
Maybe they are redirectoring some western consoles to Japan to satisfy the customers.
As if the PSP will recover from the utter pounding it has been receiving.
*Goes to Japan* OMG NO DS SYSTEMS!!! *Looks at the counter beside it* Wow, that's a lot of PSP's... :P
Wow... sold out?!
heh, I come back from holidays to see this, heck the DS is COOL! Heh, but I will get a PSP for LS :P
