Pokémon Diamond & Pearl - Online Capability
Junichi Mysada has released the first actual details about Diamand and Pearl.
In his diary, that can be found at the Gamefreak website, he wrote that the game isn't finished yet and that they need an amount of time to make the game a great one. Diamond and Pearl will use all unique capabilities the DS has. That includes the mic, the two screens and the WiFI Connection.
He mentioned he has plans to make it so players can play online and chat to each other in his online diary. And since he is the director of Diamond & Pearl, it is very likely for this to happen.

i found out everything about it i think but its confusing do u battle or play minin games and when u goin to battle dose your first pokemon come out or do u choose before

I think that when the game comes out they should make a few codes with it because I always use codes and they have always been helpful for me.

there will be codes but they might be out in a week or so whe n the game comes out and if your lucky even earlier
If there are codes cool but if not the game will probably be just as cool. I can't wait to see some of the new things.

99.9% sure it will just be online battling. team battling tho would be cool. im hoping for at least 8 player tournaments where every1 loads into an arena and battles it out wheter it is 2 on 2 tournament or 1 on 1 tournament. and wins + losses are recorded. hopefully that made some sense :D
We assumed yes, but it was never told, there were rumours it would be using Wi-Fi. But no-one ever confirmed it.

Pokemon Red was my first poketmonster title back in 1996 - it was a birthday present. Since then, I've been a closet poke' fan. Now, I think I may come out the closet - in terms of being a pokemon fan, that is. Come on! Pokemon goodness ONLINE?! I'm totally sold, I'll be waving my poke' flag with pride now. My question, though, would have to be HOW they plan on implementing "Online Play" into Pokemon. I just hope they get this right, because I'm rather excited!
itd be great if you could do team battles online. so you and a friend could go up against 2 other random people.
Same platsajack but I got it for xmas, heh...and a gbc...but heck it was a great game, and I loved pokemon ever since, but the latest games have pissed me off, so I will get pearl not dimond, but I will use it online and download my data from ruby like you can do.
Nar...I dont think it will be battle...well I hope its not only battle, I want it like Animal Crossing, like how you run around a town, but insted of a town its ur pokemon world.
How about a special online-only city that you can travel to, and meet all the other trainers, trade items and pokemon, and maybe even have HUGE pokemon competitions that the best trainers could enter and everyone could watch. Man, that would be great. There may need to be a steeper learning curve for that to work well, but that would be fine with me.

I think u should make ur on person (choose what he should look like such as his/her face hair bag cloths etc...) so when u play online ur not playing ur self. also u should go to a btalle fronteir online so ur walking around with other people form around the globe, and u sohuld have more than 4 moves!!! like 8 would b fine for me, whatever they do ill get this game!!!

Gosh, those are really great ideas. If the pokemon company gets this right, we're looking at the total rebirth of Pokemon in the states. Japan will eat this pokemon game up! Ughh! I can't wait!
You know its gunna sell over a million in a week or two.
I bet these will do realy well in Australia, as Pokemon Emeraled was No.1 in the GBA charts for about 13 weeks (in a row) as well as the main games for most of those weeks, it also is still no.1 in the GBA and sometimes dips.
Wow, that is AWESOME! I cant wait to be able to play it online! Ive always dreamed of a Pokemon MMORPG
