NDS Nintendo WiFi Connection Setup Photo's

Straight from the DigitalLife fair in New York, Scott Rubin provides the gaming crowd with some photo's we've all been waiting for: the Nintendo WiFi Conenction setup pictures in English.

Scott Rubin has uploaded a set of photo's showing English languaged screenshots of the Nintendo DS when setting up the Nintendo WiFi Connection.

The photo's show us that the Nintendo DS is able to easily beam existing connection settings to other Nintendo DS's nearby, up to three different connection profiles can be kept (imagine one profile used for connecting at home, one for using at school and one for work) aside from the default "connect to USB stick" and that the connection can be configured in great detail to fit your own wireless router at home.

Futhermore, it appears that Nintendo WiFi Connection will indeed only support WEP-based security.

  • Will this settings be saved in the DS or the Game Cart? Will I have to set this upp for every game that can be played online? Maybe someone knows? It's going to be grait to be able to play Online and beat all of you in Mario Kart DS. :-)

  • Well the way it looks to me is game card, unless we are getting a firmware upgrade, which is possible, but they are not saying any thing about it, so prob not.
