GBA SP v2 To Hit Europe

Nintendo has revealed that the new backlit version of the GBA SP will hit Europe too.

Nintendo of Europe has confirmed towards gaming website Eurogamer that Nintendo is planning to release the new backlit version of the GBA SP in Europe as well.

Recently, gamers from the United States reported that Nintendo has been shipping GBA SP units that featured a truely backlit screen. As a Nintendo representative said to Eurogamer, "all GBA SPs manufactured in the future will feature backlights, which makes for a brighter, clearer image. The SP's screen is now comparable to that of the GB Micro in terms of clarity and sharpness."

Nintendo has not yet announced a date on which European gamers may expect to see the light in their nearest gamestore.
