NDS Revolution to allow DS demo downloads

Nintendo to allow gamers to download demos of the latest Nintendo DS games via their upcoming console.

In yet another confirmation that Nintendo's first-party back catalogue will not be available to download for free on the Revolution, Mr. Iwata also confirmed that Revolution users will be able to download demos for the Nintendo DS to the console and then transfer them wirelessly to their handhelds. We look forward to hearing more on this service next month when Mr. Iwata announced that Nintendo will reveal more information on their Wi-Fi connection to be used in games for the Nintendo DS and Nintendo Revolution.

  • This is actually old news... Downloading demoes is nice and all, but I REALLY want Nintendo to allow us to download our NES/SNES classics from Rev to DS! Also: who's Jay? :-?

  • Jay is jj984jj. Let me explain the thing that happened a few weeks ago, Jay. When I asked the same question that Chris_Michael just did, you said "Moi, J-Fox." and since "Moi." means "Hi." in finnish, I thought you were a Finn just like me and were just saying it to me because you somehow found out that I was one too and blah blah blah... Anyway, after a few days I realized that you were just answering my question in french. =P

  • Yes I am Jay.
