Square-Enix Buying Taito

According to a press release issued by Square-Enix, the company is to buy out Taito.

Square-Enix, the company behind the popular Final Fantasy-series has announced its plans to buy out Taito, the developer of Bubble Bobble. Whether or not this will have consequences for the future continuation Taito remains unknown for the moment.

  If it means they don't go bankrupt, then good for them (I remember hearing someone along those lines once). I just hope they don't disolve the whole company and its brand name.
