NDS Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Not 3D

Unfortunately a hands-on at the Games Convention showed less 3D magic in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire than expected.

Our German colleagues from PlanetDS had a hands-on with Electronic Arts' upcoming Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire for the Nintendo DS. Unfortunately, the game showed less 3D graphics than the first screenshots suggested. Even worse, the game is played in a 2D environment with only 3D cutscenes.

We have no idea whether the game will actually look like its GBA counterpart or not, but as soon as we find out, we'll let you know.

  • if thats the case tiamat, EA probably just ran into a space or poly barrier with the ds and had to change it up.

  • Thats pure BS, DS has plenty of power for a 3D potter game, w/e, lame franchise anyway.
