Homebrew ppl certainly are getting good at developing for the DS.
Well, even when he makes a download for it how are people supposed to play it on thier DS?
Speaking of "homebrew", how's Doom DS coming along?
To answer unusual_rex, Chinese companies had created something called NDS Super Card. It is an empty cartridge that you can purchase. You can jack that into a USB device that allow you to put any DS game onto that cartridge as if you were to use a floppy disk. This enable those Chinese people whom have no concept of "intellectual property" to burn ROMs that they can play illegally for free. Or they will create that as a program that you can use in conjunction with the Wi-Fi adaptor. Plug-in the adaptor onto your computer and start some sort of executable to allow you to download that onto your DS for play.
and how much does this cost?? speaking of doom...exactly when are they "releasing" it??
According to Super Card official website, it will be 100 Renminbi (approximately $12 US dollar). But I have no idea if it's just the card or the whole set. The news was released on August 2, 2005, so it is fairly new, many people are still paying attention as the story is being developed. The link below is their official website, but due to my sheer respect for NDS, I will never consider to purchase those products: http://www.supercard.cn/eng/index.htm
To answer lesomeguy, Doom DS is coming along great. They even have a video of it in action. See it here: http://dual-soft.com/doomds/test01.avi
Well, the video's kind of dark... But I can see that the 3D is coming along well.
My screen is too dark (and its on max brightness) and I can hardly see a thing. But its just Doom, has it not been ported to every system in the world already. Im way more interested in QuakeDS
Euhm, http://dual-soft.com/ssbds/ another homebrew game joins the scene :)
Sweet! SSB DS sounds cool! Heretic DS looks cool also I've never heard of it but looks cool enough!
