ETC RIP Tapwave Zodiac

The Tapwave Zodiac is no more. Not that we were really worried about the device as a competitor for the Nintendo DS or GameBoy Advance...

"We are sorry to inform you that the Zodiac business was discontinued and service and support are no longer available as of July 25th 2005," is the message on the official Tapwave Zodiac homepage. And with this message, the company behind the Palm-powered multimedia handheld stopped all activity on the Zodiac.

  • I heard of it. It sounded like it did alot. They should have named it GameBoy Zodiac.

  • Ill tell you something, as long as its not in major competition with the GBA/DS or a huge threat. I love all handheld devices. I would love one of these, just like I want an N-Gage and others. I never got my chance to try this out. R.I.P - Tapwave Zodiac - We hardly knew ye'

  • If I find a Tapwave at a game store I'd pick it up. Get cheap games from Ebay and you're all set!
