Jump Superstars gets over 200k pre-orders

While the game has not yet been released, lots of pre-orders have already been taken.

To be released on August 8th, Jump Superstars is set to become a huge hit in Japan. According to Gamefront, Nintendo has announced over two hundred thousand pre-orders for the upcoming Nintendo DS title.

Jump Super Stars DS is a Super Smash Brothers-like game which features characters from many popular manga series like Naruto, Dragonball and One Piece.

Jump Superstars isn't currently slated for a European release. But with the popularity of the game, it might just make it to these shores.

  It won't get released over here, not a chance. No previous Naruto games (and there have been loads) have been released here so I wouldn't count on this one either. This will be great for the DS in Japan though. With the limited edition red DS coming out alongside this, no doubt the console sales will sky-rocket!

  Well, animes like Naruto, Bobobobou-Boubobo, One Piece, Dragon Ball, Rurouni Kenshin, and many other animes has already arrieved on Cartoon Network or 4KidTV. So, there is a slight possibility that this game MIGHT make it (It seems this game is so popular, U.S. companies will want a slice of the profit too). But, I don't want to take the risk of those "professional translators" messing up the translation and voices. Therefore, I am getting the original.

  It is better than Smash Brothers series. With Smash Brothers, all you get to do is control 1 character to fight and use item. With Jump Super Star, the number of characters/items/supports are up to you. You can use team attack, tag attack, going through adventures, and more. Jump Super Star is just like Super Smash Brother Meele, with twice as many characters, more functionalities, and more customization possibilites.
