USB Wireless Router To Be Released By Nintendo

Nintendo will produce a USB 2.0 compatible wireless network adapter for those DS owners without a wireless router.

Nintendo has revealed they will manufacture a wireless network adapter for DS owners without a wireless router. This will allow them to play their DS games AND their Revolution console online. This wireless router is USB 2.0 compatible.

"Basically, instead of an accessory that will let you go non-wireless, this accessory will make your current internet connection compatible with Wi-Fi," said a Nintendo rep.

Expect the adapter to be released at the end of the year along with the launch of the DS Wi-Fi service.

One drawback compared to proper Wi-Fi is that you must keep your computer on to use it.
