Atari to use advertising in video games

Well this is one way of advertising...

Atari has joined forces with the firm Massive Inc. to begin including advertisement in Atari video games. The first game to have the ads will be RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, which will receive the ads in an upcoming downloadable updated.

The ads will appear on billboards and shop windows throughout the game changing as you progress. Several companies are already on board to have their products shown in Atari software including Intel, Honda, Dunkin Donuts, and Coca Cola.

The new download for Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 will be optional. Atari has yet to announce if these ads will begin appearing in Nintendo software.
