Yakitate heading to DS

The name is Yakitate, it's about kicking ass, it's about taking names, actually it's about making bread...

Bandai will be bringing the Yakitate!! Japan anime series to the dual screen. The company revealed this past week. Tentatively titled Yakitate!! in Japan, this DS game takes on the series set up like a board game. You collect ingredients, make bread and set up a shop on the game board. If rival players end up in your shop's space, they have to buy bread from you.

The game will offer wireless play and a number of different bread types. A Japanese release for Yakitate!! Japan is expected in the Summer.

So, if you have ever fantasized about making bread on your DS and sharing them with friends. You better start saving up to import.
