The Need for Speed review was skewed to the point of sickening.
Huh?
yeah i didn't agree with the need for speed review at all really. I own the game and would class different things as it's strengths and weaknesses. The visuals are amazing and in motion they are the best i've seen on the ds to date. While in the review it was listed that a pro was loads of tracks. What is that? There are 6 circuit tracks (which is where the majority of the game lies) and I would not class that as 'loads of tracks'. That's kind of poor for a racing game, even though there is a reverse mode for the tracks they are still the same 6 tracks. I've nearly finished the game, and it's quite enjoyable. I think i'd give it about a solid 8. Of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion but i think it an injustice when the graphics appear as a con and the number of tracks is shown as a good thing :-/
Sorry for flying off the handle like that, it's just that I love the game. I realize that we all have our opinions.
That's what it's all about people. I've been reviewing games for over 5 years now and I'm well aware we all have very different opinions. Just look at game rankings and see the scores different sites give games. As for the N4S review I still think Ridge Racer is the best by a long way but... as we've said, it's only an opinion.
