NDS Puppy Times - Information & Screens

Nintendo has released a new factsheet for Puppy Times (or: Nintendogs). Head inside for an interesting fact...

Nintendo has released the following factsheet, however there is a tiny point of interest that could make a few gamers happy:

Key Information:Put a puppy inside your Nintendo DS!Good dog! Pick from multiple breeds, ranging from Labradors to Chihuahuas, then care for and train the puppy using the touch screen and mic.Pet the pup, acquire and play with more than 100 items like flying discs and outfits, or teach the dog to do tricks by creating voice commands. If you train your pup well enough, you can compete in dog shows and agility contests ? win to unlock other items and puppy breeds to keep yours company.Play nice! Walk your puppies around the neighborhood or interact wirelessly with your friends' Nintendogs.

Game Storyline: Care for and train your puppy by petting it, walking it and buying it items to play with. As your dog competes in dog shows and agility contests, you can purchase other puppy breeds to keep yours company.

Characters: Puppies of multiple different breeds, like Chihuahuas, Labrador retrievers, beagles and German shepherds (final number and breeds TBD.)

How to progress through the game: Purchase one of several breeds available at the beginning of the game, then start spending time with your pup. Throw flying discs and balls to improve the pup's agility, bathe it when it gets dirty, and repeat voice commands to train the dog to do tricks. If you train it well enough, you'll excel in dog shows and agility contests, which will earn you money and unlock other items and puppy breeds. When you earn enough cash, you can buy even more puppies to live with yours.

Special powers/weapons/moves/features: Walking your pup around the neighborhood is vital, as you'll find items and meet other dogs. Over time, your pup's stamina will increase so you can explore farther and farther. You also can interact wirelessly with your friends' Nintendogs ? you can set your DS to bark at you whenever another puppy is within wireless range.

Now for the interesting part (in case you missed it): while this factsheet comes from Nintendo of America, where the game is listed as Puppy Times, this new factsheet uses the word 'Nintendogs' (which is also the Japanese title of the game) a few times too often. Whether Nintendo is listening to the gamers begging for the Nintendogs name, or simply an error remains unknown for the time being. Also, the factsheet does not disclose the list of breeds available in the game as we recently learned through Nintendo of Japan...
