ALL Majesco Offers Stocks And Info

Game publisher Majesco offered 6 million new shares and supplied some minor points of interest on their products with that.

In the filing at the Securities and Exchange Commission about Majesco's offering of 6.000.000 new shares, some minor points of interest on Majesco's projects were revealed as well.

First of all, Nanostray for the Nintendo DS is currently scheduled for a release in the first half of 2005. The game, which was earlier said to use 'online highscores' later turned out to be a minor publicity stunt by revealing that this feature involved an "Online ranking system via www.nanostray.com [which] allows players to post their high scores and compete against best in the world". That's about the same online highscore system we supply here on gba.n64europe.com for Super Mario 64 DS.

Majesco's other DS title, Moonlight Fables, was not mentioned in the filing. Since the filing supplied the releaseterms of all of Majesco's Q1 and Q2 products, we can conclude that Moonlight Fables will be released in the second half of 2005 at the very least.

In the filing, there was also news on the GBA Video's by Majesco:

"We have developed a proprietary compression technology that enables GBA users to view up to 45 minutes of color video with stereo audio on a standard GBA system, using a standard GBA cartridge and with no additional hardware required."

Followed by:

"We anticipate that we will be able to release cartridges that can contain up to 90 minutes of video by the middle of 2005, including feature-length motion pictures. Our compression technologies are platform independent enabling us to quickly and easily utilize them on other platforms."

Is Majesco throwing hints for a possible Nintendo DS Video Pack?
