Namco Delivers Two Oldies To US
Two Hugo-games brought to the US by Namco, over a year after the European releases.
After more than a year after the European releases, two games based on Hugo are brought to the US. Namco and ITE Media today announced that they have signed a deal to bring two GBA games to the U.S. market this year. The two games involved are platforming/action game Hugo: The Evil Mirror and the kart racing game Hugo: Bukkazoom.

"We're excited to partner with ITE, a true leader in the interactive entertainment industry, to bring the Hugo franchise to the North American video game market," said Jeff Lujan, Business Unit Director at Namco. "We hope Hugo: The Evil Mirror and Hugo: Bukkazoom! are just the beginning of many successful game launches between ITE and Namco."
Releasedates for the games were not given. More information (and screens) about these games can be found at their individual game-pages: - Hugo: The Evil Mirror - Hugo: Bukkazoom

The Evil Mirror is pretty good. Simple gameplay but over 90 seconds of FMV taken from the PS1 Version makes it a little more impressive. Bukkazoom is a terrible game. Shoddy controls and uninspired gameplay.
Ugh. Those graphics are horrible... I'm not spending my $30 on it.
Gameplay's good though. Well in The Evil Mirror anyway. The other is trash.
It looks like a standard platformer to me. What are its unique features?
