1 Million Japanese DS's

Nintendo of Japan has struck 1 million Nintendo DS units.

In the week of December 20 - 26, Nintendo managed to sell about 250.000 Nintendo DS units to the Japanese crowd. With this amount, the 1-million barrier has been passed (1.095.000 units in total) in Japan alone.

Whether Nintendo will reach the earlier mentioned 1.400.000 target before the end of 2004 (that's tomorrow) remains unknown at this time but it will a pretty close call.
