Imagine you're in a massive line waiting to buy a Sony PSP. Apart from talking to complete strangers, what can you do? Exactly, you whip out your Nintendo DS and start playing.

  Just seen another report on the battery life and it really isn't looking too good. I think you'll see a PSP version 2 withing 18 months addressing this.

  I have heard that playing Ridge Racer on the PSP gives you 1?-2h of game play (as the game reads from the disc all the time) before the battery needs to be recharged. This must mean that you can not play and recharged at the same time, like you can with the SP and DS.
