Japanese Nintendo DS Launch

Being available less than a day at the time of writing, the Nintendo DS made 230.000 Japanese people happy already. Update It appears there was a small misunderstanding and we've got the first games-sales charts.

According to Reuters, Nintendo managed to sell over 230.000 Nintendo DS untis on the first day of the Japanese launch. While the original stock would've been 'only' 300.000 units, Nintendo decided (after hearing about the huge demand from retailers) to throw in a few more NDS's.

Update It appears there was a small misunderstanding and we've got the first games-sales charts. Instead of the earlier mentioned 500.000 units, there were 230.000 units sold (out of a total supply of 500.000).
