The first screenshot of the Metroid Prime: Hunters demo shipping together with the Nintendo DS unit has arrived.

As we can see, the game differs from previous screenshots of Metroid Prime: Hunters. Not only did Nintendo change the map layout and enhance the graphics of the 3D view of this FPS, but also did they switch the screens!

During E3, Metroid Prime: Hunters was shown with the map in the top screen, and the 3D view on the touchsensitive screen. This switch might have a few pro's and con's.

First of all, using the map on the touchscreen will prevent you from having a stylus between your eyes and the 3D view. However, this also implies that you'll have to aim more carefully on the other screen.

Whether this change is also in the full version remains unknown for the moment, but we'll probably learn this during the next few weeks.
