Tecmo has officially announced Monster Rancher Jamboree (tentative title) for the Nintendo DS.

Though the game was on the earlier releaselists as simply Monster Rancher DS, Tecmo announced the continuing Monster Rancher RPG series for the Nintendo DS as Monster Rancher Jamboree.

In the game, players take up a farm on which they can breed and raise several fantasy-animals (consider them as Pokon) to create the ultimate fighting machines you can use in various tournaments.

The Monster Rancher series started in 1997 on the PlayStation platform, and was also released on the Game Boy Advance.
