According to MVC-UK, Nintendo has a few more tricks up its sleeves...

First of all, Nintendo will drop the price of the GBA SP to ?69.99. MVC-UK quotes a senior retail source with "It will happen in the next couple of weeks". Secondly, head of Nintendo's PR department Shelly Pearce said the Nintendo has "a number of initiatives planned this Christmas" and that they "will be announcing them in the coming weeks". Various sources already spoke about two possible new hardware initiatives planned by Nintendo of Japan for the following few weeks. Whether these new hardware initiatives are GBA of GC-oriented remains shrouded.
