It looks like the touchscreen on the Nintendo DS won't be mandatory for playing Metroid Prime: Hunters...

According to our source, the latest edition of NOM magazine reads that:

"As for Metroid Prime: Hunters specifically, when we release that game we'll also make sure we include an option for a more standard control system, separate from the touch control."

So what does this mean? Basically, this means that it will be possible to play Metroid Prime: Hunters without using the touchscreen! It won't be necessary to put your NDS unit on a table or on your lap, but you'll be able to use the 'normal' buttons to play (ie. the D-pad and A, B, X, Y, L and R).
