Developer Shin'en had two nice updates on its website: a new game and Nintendo DS support.

Let's start with the latter: Nintendo DS support. Shin'en proudly posted that their DSX sound engine for the Nintendo DS is available for licensing by other developers. This means that Shin'en is officially a NDS licenced developer and that they'll probably continu their current support for Nintendo on the Nintendo DS (like duh).

Shin'en also announced a new Game Boy Advance game... remember a little bee called Maya? Well, Maya the Bee returns in Maya the Bee 2: S??es Gold (translates into: Sweet Gold. The game is the sequel to the jump'n'run game based on the popular TV series.

64 different levels and battery backup (thus: saving instead of passwords) have been confirmed by developer Shin'en.
