Nintendo president Iwata talked about the Nintendo DS today...

First of all, Iwata told the press that the concept of two screens will NOT be used in a future console. According to him, two screens can be fully used in a handheld device, but certainly not on a stationary unit.

Secondly, Iwata spoke about the DS battery. He couldn't say anything about how long a battery will last in the NDS, but he did say that it all depends on the games you play. Some games using the touchscreen more intensively will be more power-consuming than 'normal' games for example.

And last, but not least, Iwata-san spoke about the price of the Nintendo DS. According to Iwata, consumers won't pay much more than they did for the Game Boy Advance. Therefor, he claimed that the DS won't cost you (much) more than the Game Boy Advance did!
