Zelda Oracle games heading for Western eShop as well
A few weeks ago Nintendo Japan disclosed plans to release Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons on 3DS through the eShop. Now, it appears the games will also be released outside of Japan.
All credits go to our colleagues from Nintendolife, who noticed that Eiji Aonuma appeared on the Zelda Miiverse to confirm that the two Oracle titles (The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages) are planned to see a release in "other territories" in the (near) future: before the summer. Unfortunately no specific release date was mentioned.
The two games will, as expected remain linked to each other also in this new release: the original titles made use of a password system to unlock an alternate version of the other title and acquiring special items. The new eShop releases will preserve this system, so we can expect a number of passwords to fly around on the internet and Miiverse in the near future.
