EX Troopers May Not Come to Europe
Capcom have recently comented on the likelyhood of 3DS title EX Troopers getting localised for the US and European markets and, as you'd expect, the news isn't good. The main issue appears to be the considerable amount of work required to translate the text although it is thought that there were no plans to release the title outside of Japan in the first place.
Capcom's Christian Svensson wrote on the Capcom-Unity boards that:
"It was not planned for Western release... you can tell this because all of the text is 'hard coded' as actual art. The text isn't just standard 'text' that could be swapped relatively easily. To localize a release, one would have to redo a ton of art in the game, not just do the localization and loc QA."
