WIIU Rayman Legends Suffers Delay

After this mornings article about how perfect the Wii U was for Rayman Legends, it appears that the eagerly awaited platformer will no longer be a launch title and instead be released early 2013.

A UbiSoft spokesman went on to say:

"Rayman Legends will launch worldwide in the first quarter of 2013. We're happy that fans are excited about the game, and we are taking the time to make sure we deliver a game that lives up to and hopefully exceeds their expectations. We'll have more details to share soon."

It's still not a desperate situation though, for Wii U early adopters, as they'll sytill have platformers Super Mario Brothers and the next instalment of Epic Mickey to keep themselves occupied over the Festive Season.

  • I am glad for this to happen. For one, it's unwise for people to release game in Nov due to annual release of Call of Duty. Second point being I have the rest of 3DS library til the end of year to worry about.

  • Disappointed I have to get Mario now as a fall back. Oh well.
