Third Party Titles Coming to eShop This Year
Nintendo promised much with the recent re-design of the eShop including full commercial downloadable titles which would be available at the same time as retail. It now appears that the wait is (almost) over and Reggie Fils-Aime recently announced just which games would be making their way to the online shop first.
"We've got a massive list of AAA content on the way from all of the biggest names in gaming," Fils-Aime said, "that are all proven franchises, all exclusive to our platform, and all coming to stores both in physical and digital formats in the second half of 2012."
Along with this feature was also a release list of just what to expect before the years end including:
New Super Mario Bros. 2
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon
Paper Mario: Sticker Star
Kingdom Hearts 3D
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate
Scribblenauts Unlimited
Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion
It's not known yet whether digital downloads will carry the same picing as boxed copies but hopefully they'll be cheaper. What do you think?
