ZombiU coming to Wii U

Ubisoft has announced a brand new exclusive title for the Wii U. However this title was previously revealed last year as Killer Freaks.

The game has taken a drastic change and moved away from the previous concepts shown last year in the Ubisoft title; Killer Freaks from Out of Space. The enemies are now Zombies, which during the conference was dubbed that the "progressive natural development change" allowed them to reach the current version of the game.

ZombiU is a survival-horror shooter which will be released exclusively for the Wii U platform. Developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, a studio known for titles such as From Dust, Beyond Good & Evil and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.

Set in the middle of London during 2012, an outbreak has infected the population which has turned them into zombies. Ubisoft has introduced a new mechanic which makes the game fresh, which puts the players in the bodies of other survivors. If desired the player can hunt down their previous character to get equipment off the infected character.

ZombiU features a distinctive multiplayer adversarial mode that allows one player to take on the role of "Zombie Master," spawning and controlling enemies from a top-down view on the Game Pad while the second player fights for survival on the big screen in first-person shooter view with the Pro controller.

"ZombiU is a dark and daunting game that gamers will love to play again and again," said Guillaume Brunier, producer at Ubisoft. "ZombiU takes advantage of the Nintendo Wii U's one-of-a-kind capabilities and will be a launch title that every gamer will want to sink their teeth into."

It is unknown if this game will be at the Wii U launch at this stage, however the likely hood of this isn't out of the question.

I was hoping to shoot some mutant freaks from outer space, or as Michael Bay calls them, Ninja Turtles.
