SEGA Invade the eShop this Week

We're a little late with this weeks eShop offerings due to a Bank Holiday here in the UK yeasterday. We've got all the details now though with not one but three new downloads from SEGA and the one you've all been waiting for: Curling Super Championship.

Get ready to defy gravity once more as Captain Viridian, when the cult game VVVVVV arrives on Nintendo 3DS. Help the Captain navigate his crew's way back to safety after their spaceship is unexpectedly under threat from dimensional interference. All-new Player Levels offer hours of additional gameplay, and include bonus stages created by professional game developers, such as Notch (Minecraft). Inspired by 8-bit classics from days gone by, and now in experience-heightening 3D, VVVVVV will challenge even the most battle-hardened old-school gamer!

Once again it's up to you to help Sonic the Hedgehog in the age-old battle of good versus evil in Sonic Labyrinth, available via the Nintendo eShop. In this classic Sonic action-puzzler, Dr Robotnik has sneakily replaced Sonic's shoes with a pair of magical trainers that thwart his famous super-sonic speeds. It's up to you to track down the hallowed Chaos Emeralds which are the only items that will bring it back!

For the first time ever outside of Japan, you now have the chance to protect the kingdom from evil in Monster World IV, on Virtual Console for Wii. Take on the role of the young adventurer Asha and set out on a fascinating journey to save the Elemental Spirits, accompanied all along the way by your beloved pet Pepe and magical Genie. Making its way onto the Wii Shop Channel this week is a second retro classic, Wonder Boy in Monster Land, where you must fight the fire-breathing dragon and his evil henchmen to prevent them from creating their own Monster Land.

Help Captain Viridian flip to find five crew members, 20 hard-to-reach Trinkets and save a dimension on the brink of destruction. Instead of jumping, control the direction of gravity by inverting your gravity and allowing Captain Viridian to flip between the floors and ceilings of the environments.

Help Sonic the Hedgehog in his quest to defeat Dr Robotnik and regain his super-speed! Step into super-sneakers for temporary Sonic swiftness, use warp gates to find special items and grab 100 rings in the bonus stage to win an extra try.
