FarSight Studios working on The Pinball Arcade for Wii U

FarSight Studios has revealed that they're working on a Wii U version of The Pinball Arcade. According to their Facebook page, the company started working on a Wii version, but discovered that the Wii simply wasn't powerful enough to run the game. FarSight is aiming for a near-launch release of the Wii U version nonetheless.

On a sidenote, the Facebook page also shows an excerpt about a possible Nintendo 3DS version: the company seems to have a plan to get the performance they need out of the 3DS to run the ROM emulation, however some R&D is needed before they know for sure whether it will work. The 3DS version is currently on hold until more time and resources can be invested into this R&D.
