We already knew Nintendo was coming with a wireless link adapter, but that Majesco was planning one aswell AND talking about 'Wireless Messenger'... well, that's new...

Majesco, a leading publisher of interactive entertainment products and developers of the acclaimed Game Boy Advance Video compression technology, today announced two new applications for the Game Boy Advance, Wireless Messenger and Wireless Link, scheduled for availability later this year pending licensing approval from Nintendo.

Majesco's Wireless Messenger allows users to send instant text messages via their Game Boy Advance, while the company's Wireless Link allows consumers to play any game link-compatible multiplayer game. Both products will make their official public debut during the E3 trade show in Los Angeles, May 12-14.

"More than 21 million consumers in North America own a Game Boy Advance and that alone offers a significant opportunity for publishers," said Jesse Sutton, Chief Executive Officer, Majesco. "Between our video compression technology and our new wireless offerings, we have managed to go beyond the normal video game applications to maximize and expand the potential of Nintendo's Game Boy Advance."
