Wii U Coming this Christmas?

Nintendo have given their biggest hint yet regarding the release of their forthcoming console: the Wii U. The information was disclosed during an investor meeting but it's important to remember that both the GameCube and Wii launched during the busy October to November period.

Satoru Iwata told inverstors:

"I believe that you are most interested in the details of the Wii U. Since the Wii U will be launched in Japan, the U.S., Europe and Australia in the year-end sales season... as we did for previous platforms that were launched in the year-end sales season, we will announce the launch date and price in each market sometime after E3."

So there you have it although we did expect some time of official announcement around this years E3. Will you be pre-ordering your Wii U or does the conole hold no interest for you at all?
