New Mario title announced

During Nintendo Direct Nintendo announced a brand new Mario title.

The Mario title will be a part of the "New" series. Like the previous New Super Mario Bros. titles, the game retains the 3D sprites on 2D plan look. The title is a 3DS title.

The game has also pushed other titles such as Animal Crossing further down the pipe line, sneaking in to an August 2012 release date.
