This Weeks eShop Offerings

If you happen to be new to the 3DS (or even an early addoptor) why not kick off the New Year with a wide array of new games, software and demos available to download from the Nintendo eShop.

Draw your bow and arrow and become a fighting angel in 3D Classics Kid Icarus, the classic action-packed platformer where the fate of the Goddess Palutena is in your hands, now with immersive 3D graphics. This game is available for free to anyone who has registered for the Club Nintendo promotion after registering two games on their Nintendo 3DS. The deadline for registration is 31st January so register now to get your hands on this re-mastered 3D version of the classic platformer.

Go on a quest to save the land of Shabubu in Trip World, available via the Nintendo eShop. The land is beset with war after their symbol of peace, the flower of Maita, has been stolen and you will need to use all of the heroic Yakapoo’s skills, including transforming into various different forms, in order to put an end to the chaos. Also inspire your kids to take on a wide range of exciting maths problems to challenge and educate with Successfully Learning Mathematics Year 2, available via the Nintendo eShop and DSi Shop.

New Year’s greetings are on offer for all owners of the 3D puzzle platformer Pyramids. Released exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS, owners of Pyramids can now get three all-new levels for free. To take on these tricky challenges all you need to do is scan the QR codes using the in-game QR code option, and the action will start straight away.

3D Classics Kid Icarus

Fans of action-platformers will love 3D Classics Kid Icarus, remastered with immersive 3D visuals for the Nintendo 3DS. Starring the angelic warrior Pit, you must rescue the goddess Palutena and save Angel Land from the terrifying Medusa. Look out for Pit's return in Kid Icarus: Uprising for Nintendo 3DS.

Trip World

When even the grass and plants are fighting each other, you know you’ve got a problem. Trip World is a charming platform game starring the amazing Yakopoo, who may look innocent but is able to transform into different forms to achieve his quest to find the Flower of Maita.

Successfully Learning Mathematics Year 2

Take on exciting maths problems with the little vampire Freddy in Successfully Learning: Mathematics, Year 2. Pupils will be challenged and amused by cheeky Freddy, who motivates kids and assists them with tips. All problems are based on the current curriculum for maths. You can play Successfully Learning: Mathematics, Year 2 in German, English, Spanish, French, Italian and Turkish.

Fish Tank

Catch fish across 24 challenging levels, Fish Tank is an exciting arcade-style matching game, in which you collect shoals of colourful fish. With a four player co-op mode as well as nine different power-ups to enhance your gameplay. Practice hard and perhaps you could win the ultimate fishing trophy.
